Slum and peri-urban Transformation Programs
Africa is a blessed continent. Her more than 1 billion people are the greatest resource with unmistakable hospitality and resilience to weather the storms of life. The continent is endowed with natural resources including world’s largest deposits of diamond, cobalt, uranium, iron ore, gold, copper, platinum, natural gas, oil, aluminium and asphalt, among others.
Despite the blessings of these resources, many parts of Africa are living in abject poverty. The rural-urban migration without matching industrialisation, job creation and matching skills development has led to mushrooming informal settlements with low access to essential services and low score on Millennium Development Goals.
3-Strands International Advocacy
Our advocacy arm seeks to meet the current needs and find lasting solutions that improve living conditions and uplift the quality of life. We have been able to carry out medical screening camps, provide Sew4life-sewing skills that empower women to create business opportunities to teen-mothers in slums.
Souls and Light
We touch Souls and Light homes with God’s word and provide Solar lamp for families living in remote villages, while building their skills and capacity to engage in wealth and job creation.
Feeding Program
We have provided food to mothers leaving in slums, churches and in homes especially now during the terrible Covid19 pandemic season. Our focus especially is geared to those whom we have worked with over the years.
